MathPro Learning Centre is seeking applications for its
Part-time Administrative Assistant position

Flexible Start Time

We are actively seeking applicants to provide coverage for three locations:

North: Unit 23, 41 Chelsea St NW, Calgary
North: Unit 201, 1829 Ranchlands Blvd NW, Calgary
South: Unit 100L, 9705C Horton Rd SW, Calgary
West: Unit 102, 3515 17 Ave SW, Calgary

There are 3 opening positions available.
Applicants must be willing to travel to all locations on shifts.
On-going training will be provided

About 10 to 20 hours work week. Weekdays shift from 5pm to 9pm, weekends from 10am to 4pm.

MathPro requires admin support from 5pm to 9pm, Mondays to Fridays, 10am to 4pm on Saturdays. Support is shared among centres. We encourage application even when your availability does not exactly match our hours of operations in one specific location.

Here are two examples.

Example 1
Minimum: 4 hours
Maximum: 10 hours
Mondays: class ends at 3pm, available 5-9pm
Thursdays: class ends at 5:30pm, available 6-9pm

Example 2
Minimum: 10 hours
Maximum: 15 hours
Mondays: No school. Available Anytime
Tuesdays: class ends 5pm, available 6-9pm
Wednesdays: class ends 3:15pm: available 4-9pm
Fridays: Anytime
Saturdays: No class. available 9am-5pm

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Maintain electronic scheduling system
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments
  • Perform data entry
  • Re-direct inquiry calls
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Greet customers and staff
  • Process Payment
  • Report to operations managers

Qualification:

  • Full or part-time college or university student
  • Hands on administrative support experience is an asset
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MacOS and iOS
  • Able to work as a team
  • Able to perform under pressure
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Able to travel to different centres on pre-scheduled days
